From a young age, Andrea would spend free time moving her bedroom furniture around, instead of playing with the dolls, she would move their furniture to see what the best, most functional layout! Her family contributed to her creativity, while she worked to keep up with her older brothers, her Dad let her learn the construction business building along side him, and her Mom always encouraged any form of art and ingenuity. Andrea loves looking at things in new and inventive ways to improve form and function, not to mention making her spaces feel comfortable and welcoming.
Andrea and her husband live in Richmond, Virginia. Their home is a continued source of inspiration and frustration, as she continually seeks to improve the organization and use of her home to create a great life for them. Andrea’s view on organizing is to make sure you have the right place for the right stuff, so when you go to straighten up, its quick and painless. Crafting should be fun but it doesn’t have to be messy! By having a place for everything Andrea finds it INCREASES her ability to be creative.
