I have some tough love for you today. You need to let it go! What do I mean by that? I guarantee you have projects, ideas, and old hobbies stashed in your craft room. And here is the thing, some of those are bringing your creativity down! You need to be willing and able to let items and old ideas go. Then you can free up not only your physical space but your mental space for creativity!
Creativity involves freeing your mind. So that you can develop new inspired ideas. If you are sitting around looking or thinking about the failed projects, crafts you didn’t enjoy or things that just didn’t quite work. Then you are taking up valuable space in your craft area AND in your brain!
I am going to challenge you, go to your craft room today and remove 1 thing that just makes you feel crummy! We all have it. The project that will never be finished or the items that will never get used. Just 1 thing today, and then come back and tell me how you feel about not having that item, project or idea in your mental and physical space. I guarantee, while there may be some remorse, you will feel a sense of underlying relief!

Excellent advice. I did this a couple of years ago when I redid my studio and have been able to keep it up. It did make me feel good that’s why I think I’ve had a easy time keeping it up.

That’s awesome! And great to know it’s something that works for someone else too!!
